MK Unofficial Site (Italian) - This site is completely written in Italian, so it may be hard for some to read it. Nevertheless, this is a great page which is worth a visit.

This is another (and not bad) poll idea by Sterolizer: Maybe you played MK:Mythologies which showed us Sub-Zero's history. Some of the characters, which were introduced in this game (like Quan Chi, Shinnok) made their way into Mortal Kombat 4. Do you think that some other characters of MK:Mythologies should appear in the fighting game MK5?

There are two way, you can enter the chat and discuss the polls with other people:

Some days ago, the page MK Shrine opened, and now it has a chat transcript with Lia Montelongo (for those, who want to know who she is, just visit the site ;).
Mortal Kombat Shrine - This site is full of information about all the MK games, MK movies and the show. Additionally, you can find chat transcripts and some other things dealing with Mortal Kombat.

As you maybe remember, I've already made a poll about the MK4/Gold fighters returning in MK5 (if you missed it, click here to open the poll). The current one deals with the characters who haven't been mentioned yet (for example Rain), which means they appeared in an other MK game (MK1-MK Trilogy). Do you want them to return in MK5 after this break? (idea from Sterolizer, MK Nightmares)

After one year of absence of the world of learning (alternative national service->no time to study), I continue my study of computer science. Because of that I probably won't have as much time for the page as in earlier days. Nevertheless, I will update MK5 Polls whenever I have the opportunity (time) to do that.

In MK4/Gold, you were able to draw a weapon and fight with it. Although it takes a while to do that in the game, it added a new element to Mortal Kombat. Do you think it was a good or a bad feature in the last game? Probably, another poll about this topic will follow, depending on the poll result.

Well, I'm back from skiing in Kirchberg/Tirol (Austria). It was great, although the weather wasn't too good. On some days, the falling snow, combined with the wind, made the skiing not too much fun. Nevertheless, it was a wonderful holiday which I really needed.
On 01/03/2001, I have to continue my study (computer science) which means that I won't have a lot of time for MK5 Polls but that doesn't mean that I don't have any time for it. If you have more time, know something about webpages and like MK5 Polls, please tell me (probably we could work together on the page).

There will be no updates on MK5 Polls the next week because I'll be skiing. I'll go by train on Saturday and come back one week after leaving. Nevertheless, the site will be up all the time, which means that you can still vote on the older polls (if you haven't done so already; keep in mind that there are fourteen polls). In some fighting games, you have replays at the end of the fight. Do you think it would fit Mortal Kombat 5 too? Would you like to see the best scene in a replay? And should it be after each round, after a fight, or do you want it to be at the end of the tournament to sum up the best scenes?

As you probably know, MK4 was the first MK with real three-dimensional graphics but the movement was reduced to 2D and stepping in and out. Would you like to have completely free movement in space, do you think this would make the game too difficult, or do you want to have 2D graphics back?

Today I added a link to Mortal Kombat Nightmares - The oldest MK site around, with the most MK information you will ever find, and special features like the most expanded fan fiction section, and the most popular Contest Cave.

Mortal Kombat has been taken place at several locations but where do you want it to be next time? Do you want to fight on Earth, in Outworld or in the Netherealm? Would you let it be in Zaterra (where Reptile comes from) or at another place? Or shall it take place at some locations during the tournament?

I have been working on this animation for about three weeks (since the last animation I made), this time I tried to make it in 3D. There were some difficulties to convert the morphing pictures into three-dimensional pictures with POV-Ray, that's why you have the "jumping" edges during the animation. Nevertheless, I hope that you enjoy the Mortal Kombat dragon, morphing into the number five and back (once again but this time in 3D)!

From now on, you aren't only able to post on the message board, you can also enter a chatroom and discuss the polls with everyone who is online at the moment. Feel free to visit it at any time or to write a comment about it at the message board!

What would you think of creating your own fighters in Mortal Kombat 5? You probably know games like Quake3 or Unreal Tournament, in which you can include your own fighters. You could use your own animations, your own sounds and the information of the move (strength, ...) could also be included. Nevertheless, would you like to see a feature "creating own fighters" in MK5? By the way, I got this poll idea from Dave (Dave's MK).

There's a new part of my page, where you can find different stuff (animations, pictures, ...) which deals with Mortal Kombat. The first one I add, is an animation, in which the Mortal Kombat dragon morphs into the number five and back to the dragon. If you have any cool stuff, of which you think that it would fit into this section, please write an e-mail to me.

What do you think of the idea (by Dreammaster) that after Shao Kahn's death, his soul went into Reiko's body (with Kahn's magic skills probably no problem)? That would explain Reiko's ending in MK4/Gold, where he sits down on Shao Kahn's throne and puts Kahn's mask on. Would you like to see it this way, do you want Shao Kahn to return but not as Reiko, or don't you think Kahn should return?

Maybe you have seen the MK Gold ending of Kung Lao, in which Kitana and Kung Lao make peace with Goro. Do you think Goro shall return as a loyal to the earth realm fighters, shall he be fighting for the bad side (as he did all the time)? Or would you like to see him as neutral fighter (neither of both sides) or don't you want to see him in MK5?

To make the polls section smaller, I've created a new page for the older polls. You can still vote and see the results there but it doesn't take so much place as the ones in the polls section.
Additionally, I updated the poll about music styles. The "classical music" choice had to go, instead I put "Mixed" into the poll. The votes for classical are going to the "other" music styles.

This poll should already have been up on Friday but I got sick and didn't feel good enough to add it to my homepage... Nevertheless, here it is: There have been several discussions on some message board about this topic and I thought why don't make a poll out of it? Nowadays, there are quite a lot of different consoles (not to forget the PC), and probably MK5 won't appear on all of them.

I've been away for some days because of being sick... but now I'm back (at least I hope so, since I have still some headache)! Perhaps I don't have to stay in bed for more days.

There have been many discussion about the music style in MK5. That's why I put a poll about this topic here. Do you want to hear techno music (like in the movie/show) or do you think that another style would fit MK5 better?

Probably you know the Sub Zero/Scorpion conflict (Sub Zero killed Scorpion's family). In the endings of MK4/Gold we (and both ninjas) found out that Quan Chi was responsible for the murder of Scorpion's family. Because of that Scorpion freed Sub Zero from his curse. What do you think? Shall they return as friends or shall there be something else which makes them enemies once again?
